At Dannys Food we take food safety seriously, therefore all new employes must undergo our Food Safety and Hygiene training. This course was created for person who works in a food establishment and handles food or food contact surfaces, whether packaged or unpackaged, or who is likely to come into contact with food or food contact surfaces. This broad definition encompasses a wide range of roles within the food industry, from preparation and cooking to serving and cleaning. The primary responsibility of a food handler is to ensure the safety and wholesomeness of the food they handle, thereby protecting public health from foodborne illnesses. This involves adhering to strict hygiene practices, understanding food safety principles, and preventing contamination at every stage of the food chain.
